This service is for those with postural or motor impairments requiring the use of a wheelchair, walker, adjusted seat, prosthesis, walking board, or other adaptive aid:- Made-to-measure adaptive aids based on individual needs
- installation and education
- Repair and support service
Clientele
- 0-21 years old
- Registered or not at the Mackay Rehabilitation Centre
- Clients presenting postural or motor disabilities requiring the use of wheelchair, walker, adjusted seat, standing frame or other adaptive aid
Services offered
- Evaluation, technical and clinical follow-up
- Evaluation based on individual needs for wheelchair, adjusted seat, cushion, accessories and adaptive aids
- Conception and design, made-to-measure adaptive aids
- Repair and support services
- Sale and distribution of adaptive aids and accessories (cane, walker, standing frame...)
Required documents
- Registration form
- Medical prescription (neurologist, physiatrist, orthopedist, rheumatologist, neurosurgeon) documenting the diagnosis and the technical aid requested
