Stages

The Mackay Rehabilitation Centre is proud to contribute actively in the training of future health and social services professionals and to participate in activities allowing a better knowledge of problems lived by our clientele.

For that purpose, the Mackay Rehabilitation Centre welcomes trainees of various disciplinary fields from university establishments (McGill University, University of Montreal, and University of Ottawa) and colleges (John Abbott, Vanier and Dawson CEGEPS). Mackay strives to offer an environment of allying enriching training to know, know-how and knowledge-being.

So, every year we can welcome trainees occupational therapist, physiotherapy, speech therapy, audiology, social work, nursing, medicine, music therapy and psychology.

The planning and coordination of the clinical trainings are organized in collaboration with the coordinators of trainings of the educational establishments and the Mackay rehabilitation Centre with the program managers and disciplinary responsible.

Furthermore, the Mackay rehabilitation Centre values the contribution of its staff to the training activities in the universities and with the various partners in the health and social services network.
