Research
The Mackay Rehabilitation Centre is a Teaching and Research partner of McGill University. The Centre also welcomes researchers from other area universities as well as interns whose work can benefit from an involvement at Mackay.
The Mackay Rehabilitation Centre is involved in research projects connected with the various types of clients we serve. It requires the participation of our clients and clinicians, amongst others, and, depending upon the research project, solely the participation of our clients. The Mackay Rehabilitation Centre considers its implication in research activities important because it has positive effects on the advancement of knowledge in rehabilitation, it aids in the development of new clinical practices, and it improves the quality and the efficiency of the interventions offered to our clients.
