Message from the Chairman

Our clinicians our pride !

Mackay Rehabilitation Centre is an important player right in the heart of Montréal's rehabilitation network. Last year, more than 1,500 children and adults received rehabilitation, adaptation and social integration services at Mackay

Children with hearing or motor skill difficulties or speech and language disorders, and deaf or hard of hearing adults were able to take advantage of the expertise of our professionals whose goal is to furnish clients with the necessary tools to maintain or enhance their autonomy and to maximize their potential in society.

An impressive array of projects undertaken by our therapists attests to our dynamism and to our involvement towards our clientele. Mackay Rehabilitation Centre emphasizes a client Centreed approach, which requires a knowhow that goes beyond individual disciplines and allows staff to develop a holistic treatment approach, with clients profiting from the integrated efforts of all. Such sharing of skills and knowledge aims to increase coherence amongst services offered and multiplies learning and professional development opportunities for clinicians.

Partnerships and Collaboration

Affiliated with McGill University, with whom we participate in research projects, we also offer internships to future rehabilitation professionals studying at McGill and the Université de Montréal.

Our crucial partnership network includes The Montréal Association for Blind, McGill University Health Centre Montréal Children's Hospital, and the Mackay Rehabilitation Centre School.

We offer a world of employment perspectives worth exploring. The Centre provides services in both French and English, and is committed to providing services to the Anglophone population of Québec.

If you are ready to commit yourself to an interdisciplinary work environment where every employee plays an important role and where respect and human warmth are the norm, Mackay Rehabilitation Centre opens its doors to you.

The President
