Foundation

The MAB–Mackay Rehabilitation Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing rehabilitation services and programs to children and adolescents with motor disabilities, language impairments and to the deaf and hard-of-hearing population of all ages.

Committed to furnishing the tools and assistance that are required to facilitate the daily lives of its clients, the Mackay Rehabilitation Centre offers numerous programs tailored to meet individual needs. Its priority is to offer a truly supportive environment that will maximize every person’s success.

The mandate of the MAB–Mackay Rehabilitation Centre Foundation is to maintain the many services and programs offered by the Rehabilitation Centre as well as support the development of creative and innovative clinical ideas such as the Saliva Management Clinic through various fundraising activities and to develop strong relationships with the partners and all members of the MAB–Mackay community.

As a private institution under agreement, 20% of the operating budget and 100% of the capital budget are funded by charitable donations.
